Bjarne Hammar

Bjarne Hammar has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Bjarne is currently serving as the Head of Manufacturing at Aurobay (Powertrain Engineering Sweden AB) since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Volvo Cars as the Head of Manufacturing at the Skövde Plant from February 2017 to June 2022, and also held the position of Director Logistics (MP&L) at Volvo Car Engine during the same period. Before joining Volvo Cars, Bjarne was the CEO of Coloreel from August 2014 to April 2017. Bjarne has also worked at Husqvarna, where they held several roles, including Vice President of Strategic Sourcing, Advanced Purchasing & Commodities Europe from 2011 to 2014, and Product Manager at Gunnebo from 2001 to 2003.

Bjarne Hammar pursued their formal education from 1993 to 1996 at Gislaveds Gymnasium, where they completed the Naturvetenskapsprogrammet, Teknisk gren. Afterward, they continued their education at Chalmers University of Technology from 1996 to 2001, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering & Economics.
