Siân Govind

Siân Govind is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in talent acquisition and leadership in various industries, currently serving as Founder Fellow at Startmate and Founder & Director at BeHeard Aotearoa since 2023. BeHeard Aotearoa focuses on fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Kiwi tech sector. Previous roles include Head of People and Talent Manager at Halter, where innovation in farming technology was emphasized, and Talent Acquisition for APAC at Tesla, which aims to promote sustainable energy. Siân also contributed to building high-performing teams at Uber as Co-Chair of the Parents Employee Resource Group in EMEA and as a Talent Acquisition specialist. Additional experience includes talent sourcing at DoubleDutch and recruitment coordination roles at Booking.com and Madison Recruitment. Siân holds an executive education degree in Leadership & Strategy from Harvard Business School.
