Christopher Kalmus

Christopher Kalmus is the CEO and President of Aurora Circuits. Prior to this, they served as the President of LiveText, Inc. from 1997 to 2017.

LiveText is a web-based assessment solution that supports evidence-based learning. With a powerful learning assessment, e-Portfolio, and field experience technology platform, LiveText builds best-practice processes of assessment at institutions so faculty can more easily communicate feedback to students, students can engage in deep reflective learning, and administrators can collect the assessment data and analytics needed to make informed decisions on improving programs and ensure quality programming.

Since 1997, LiveText has been remarkably successful at helping institutions improve learning and increase student engagement. In using LiveText’s suite of tools, institutions document such advancement and can fulfill accreditation standards focused on enhancing the effectiveness of teaching and learning at all levels within an institution or organization.

As President, Kalmus provided executive oversight for the company including ongoing involvement in the development of the LiveText platform, as well as thought leadership growth and awareness of trends in the field of learning assessment and data management.

Christopher Kalmus received their Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and their Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Notre Dame.
