Alistair Burke

Alistair Burke began their work experience as a Commercial Lawyer at Abetz Curtis Lawyers in August 2010. Alistair then worked as a Solicitor and Legal Services Team Leader at Q-COMP from August 2011 to December 2013. In August 2014, they joined the Department of Treasury and Finance in Victoria as a Senior Solicitor until January 2016. Alistair then briefly served as a Corporate Counsel at Aurora Energy from January 2016 to June 2016. Alistair later returned to Aurora Energy in July 2016 and held various roles including Manager Legal & Procurement, Legal, Risk and Compliance Manager, and Acting Chief Customer Officer. Currently, Alistair serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Aurora Energy since December 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate at Tasmanian Leaders Inc from February 2019 to January 2020.

Alistair Burke's education history includes a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Tasmania in 2010, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the same university from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, they obtained another Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Tasmania from 2005 to 2007. In 2016, Alistair completed the GIA(Cert) program at the Governance Institute of Australia, and in 2021, they completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
