Alexander Esser

Alexander Esser is the Head of Nordics & Baltics at Aurora Energy Research, leading a team of 20 and overseeing the research and advisory practice for the Nordic and Baltic markets since September 2016. Previously, Alexander served as a Senior Commercial Manager and Team Lead in Berlin, focusing on power markets in Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, and Belgium. Early career experiences include roles as an Associate and Senior Analyst at Fortum, and an intern at RWE Consulting. Alexander has also held positions such as Head of Compatibility Management at tado° and Student Research Assistant at Fraunhofer IPT. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management and Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
