Ben Smith

Ben Smith currently serves as a Senior Advisory Analyst at Aurora Energy Research, where responsibilities include providing data and analytics to support the energy transition. Prior experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Economics Teaching Assistant at Duke University and a Staff Writer for the Duke Chronicle. Ben also completed an internship as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Sixpoint Partners, a PNC Bank Company, and worked as an intern for the VC Lab program, assisting first-time fund managers with fund formation processes. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Duke University, complemented by a minor in Music, as well as time spent studying at Venice International University. Ben began career development at Wake Forest University as a lifeguard.
