Weijie Mak

Weijie Mak is a seasoned professional in the energy consulting sector, currently serving as the Head of Australia and Principal at Aurora Energy Research since March 2016. With a strong background in the Australian and North West European power markets, Weijie has managed various teams and products, including being the Project Leader for subscription products and leading detailed analyses for the GB Power subscription. Prior to Aurora, Weijie worked as a Competition Economist at Case Associates and completed an academic internship at the Institute of Economic Affairs in London, contributing valuable research on income inequality and economic growth. Weijie began a career in research as a Clerical Officer at IRAS, focusing on green tax viability in Singapore. Academic credentials include a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)
