Under Harris’s leadership, Aurora Multimedia has pioneered innovative products, notably introducing the first non-proprietary, Web-standards-based IP control systems and advanced IP video distribution solutions like HDBaseT™ and IPBaseT™, solidifying the company's position as a leader in the AV sector. Prior to this, Harris was the CEO of Zytec Inc. from January 1994 to December 1997, where the company specialized in designing and manufacturing paging supervisory systems for monitoring paging speakers, crucial for life safety in emergencies.
