Michael Chasse

Senior Implementation Engineer at Aurora North Software

Michael Chasse has had a long and varied career in the technology industry. Michael began in 1994 as a Studio Maintenance Engineer for Vermont Public Television. In 1996, they moved to the University of Vermont as a Telecom/Catcard Technician II. In 2001, they became a Lead Technician and Co-owner at Campus Systems Inc., where they designed, built, and installed voice/data structured cabling, CATV networks, and door-access controls. In 2006, they worked as an ASIC Testsite Electrical Technician (temp) at IBM. From 2007 to 2017, they were a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst at MyWebGrocer, where they led a team of two to four in designing, developing and distributing SSRS reports, SSIS packages for clients and internal users, administered Tableau server servicing multiple clients and internal users, and designed and maintained C# applications for data retrieval in both reporting and Google Analytics. Michael then moved to Aurora North Software, Inc. in 2017, where they worked as a Senior Implementation Engineer.

Michael Chasse has two associate's degrees, one in Computer Engineering from Vermont Technical College (2005-2007) and one in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Champlain College (1992-1994). Michael also has three certifications, the most recent being the Sisense BloX Course from Sisense obtained in September 2021. Michael also has certifications in IT Security Specialist and Network Administrator from Lynda.com obtained in August and July 2016, respectively.
