Frutoso Chavez

Frutoso Chavez, MA, currently serves as the Head of School at Colorado Early Colleges since July 2025. Previously, Frutoso held administrative roles at Aurora Public Schools from July 2016 to July 2025 and at Denver Public Schools from September 2009 to July 2025, where Frutoso also worked as an Assistant Principal at High Tech Early College from 2005 to 2009 and as a teacher from 2005 to 2009. Frutoso was the owner of FAC Appraisals, a real estate appraisal business, from 2001 to 2005, and served in the United States Marine Corps as a Signals Intelligence Specialist from 1993 to 1999. Academically, Frutoso holds a Principals License in Educational Leadership from the University of Denver, a Master of Arts in Education from Grand Canyon University, and a BA in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
