Helen L. Vanbuskirk

Helen L. VanBuskirk is an experienced educator currently serving as a 3rd Grade ELA Teacher at Aurora Public Schools since July 2024. Previously, Helen held positions as a Pre-K Teacher at Ducklings Early Learning Centers and worked as an Independent Contractor at Wingmom, providing various support services. Helen has also contributed to literacy education as a tutor in the WCUPA Literacy Tutor Program and gained practical experience through multiple teaching roles, including a student teaching position in a Kindergarten classroom with Marple Newtown School District. With a Master of Education in Literacy and Reading Specialist Certification and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Education, Helen has a solid educational foundation complemented by extensive hands-on teaching experience.
