Lori Kohl, PhD, currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Aurora Public Schools, beginning in October 2023. Prior to this role, Lori was an Assessment Coordinator at St. Vrain Valley Schools and Principal at Bromley East Charter, where the focus was on holistic student development and innovative curricula. Lori has also held various leadership positions in Aurora Public Schools, including Administrative TOSA and Dean of Students, working on initiatives related to early childhood education, culturally responsive teaching, and instructional leadership. Additionally, experience includes roles at Metropolitan State University of Denver as Affiliate Faculty and as School Board President for Eagle Ridge Academy Charter High School. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Denver, along with several other advanced certifications and degrees.
