Elizabeth Wendel

Elizabeth Wendel has a comprehensive work experience in the education field. Elizabeth started their career at West Aurora High School in 2003 as a High School Mathematics Teacher. Elizabeth then took on the role of Mathematics Department Chair from 2011 to 2012 before being promoted to Assistant Principal of Operations from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, they transitioned to West Aurora School District 129 as the Director of Data & Assessment. Elizabeth recently became the Executive Director of Secondary Education in July 2021.

Elizabeth Wendel holds two master's degrees. From 2006 to 2007, they attended Northern Illinois University and obtained a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Following that, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued another master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, also at Northern Illinois University.
