Marti Neahring

Marti Neahring serves as the Executive Director of Student and Family Services at West Aurora School District 129 since July 2011, overseeing a culturally diverse student population of nearly 12,500. Prior to this role, Marti held the position of Director of Student Services at Oswego Community Unit School District from July 2007 to June 2011, contributing to one of the fastest-growing school districts in the country. Marti's experience also includes roles as Assistant Principal at Thompson Jr. High and Dean of Students at Washington Middle School, along with earlier work as a Special Education Teacher. Marti holds an Endorsement in Special Education Director from the University of St. Francis, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Aurora University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Western Illinois University.
