Alexis Thompson is an experienced professional in the clean energy and sustainability sectors, currently serving in a Customer Success role at Aurora Solar since September 2019. Concurrently, Alexis holds the position of Clean Mobility Equity Research Fellow at GRID Alternatives and has been actively involved as Co-President of Students for Sustainable Energy at the University of Michigan. In addition to these roles, Alexis enriches the optiMize community as a Campus Ambassador and previously served as an OptiMize Fellow. Alexis also contributes as a Great Lakes Regional Fellow for Citizens' Climate Lobby and has held various engineering roles, including Project Engineer at Walker-Miller Energy Services and Project Engineering Intern at United States Gypsum Company. The educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, GIS, and Business Management from the University of Michigan, along with involvement in the White House Solar International program.
