Chris Mullen

Chris Mullen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in organizational safety and technology research across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Organizational Safety at Aurora since March 2021, Chris previously held the role of Director of SDV Safety Standards at Uber ATG from October 2019 to April 2021. Prior to that, Chris was the VP of Research and Development at Solera, Inc. and Executive Director of CESVI LIV NA from June 2018 to October 2019. Chris also contributed significantly at State Farm Insurance as the Director of Technology Research from December 2010 to May 2018, overseeing various research divisions. Earlier career highlights include managing technical and regulatory affairs at Toyota Motor North America and working as an engineer at Nissan North America. Chris holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Virginia Tech, completed in 1998.
