Cody Berman

Cody Berman is a seasoned professional in autonomy systems and safety engineering, currently serving as Principal TLM at Aurora since February 2019, following roles as Senior Staff TLM and Staff TLM. Prior to this, Cody worked at General Motors from June 2011 to January 2019, where responsibilities included leading software design for safety-critical electronic modules in autonomous and electrified vehicle applications. Additional positions at General Motors included Software Design Leader and Software Strategist, focusing on embedded C software development and hardware abstraction layers. Earlier experience includes a co-op at Delphi/BWI Group, contributing to the design of automotive suspension controllers. Cody holds a Master's Degree in Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton.
