Matthew Weeks

Matthew Weeks is a seasoned professional in vehicle cyber security, currently employed at Aurora since June 2022. With extensive experience as a speaker at prominent cybersecurity conferences such as Black Hat and Defcon since 2011, Matthew has contributed significantly to the field, including presenting on advanced exploitation countermeasures. Prior roles include Technology Fellow at Deloitte from January 2021 to June 2022 and Senior Research and Development Scientist at root9B, where organizational leadership was a key focus. Additionally, Matthew has a foundation in software development from contributions to The Metasploit Project and has led red team operations in national cybersecurity competitions. Matthew's military background includes serving as Officer In Charge for Intrusion Forensics in the United States Air Force, where numerous security enhancements were proposed and implemented. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Cedarville University.
