Michael Lee

Michael (Dung-Han) Lee is a Software Engineer specializing in localization, currently working at Aurora since October 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Software Engineer at TuSimple from July 2020 to October 2021, where Michael focused on vehicle velocity estimation and online wheel calibration using advanced optimization techniques. A Software Engineer Intern at Avigilon in summer 2019, Michael developed a real-time human position tracking algorithm and access control systems leveraging C++ and 3D analysis. Earlier experience includes an internship at Acer in 2017, enhancing VGG-16 neural network performance for gender classification. Michael holds a Master of Science in Robotic Systems Development from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University.
