Yiqian Gan

Yiqian Gan is a seasoned professional in machine learning and robotics, currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Aurora since August 2023. Prior to this role, Yiqian Gan worked at TuSimple, where responsibilities included serving as Prediction & Planning Machine Learning Team Lead from March 2018 to August 2023, and as a Machine Learning Algorithm Intern in May 2017 through August 2017. Yiqian Gan holds a Master of Science in Robotics and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, where education spanned from 2014 to June 2017 and 2014 to 2016, respectively. Additionally, Yiqian Gan earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from the University of Michigan (2012-2014) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2010-2014).
