Alisa Chester

Alisa Chester is a seasoned professional in Medicaid policy and programs with extensive experience in health policy, research, and strategic state engagements. Currently serving as the Director of Medicaid Policy & Programs at Aurrera Health Group since April 2019, Alisa has previously held positions including Deputy Director and Senior Policy Consultant at the same organization. Prior to Aurrera, Alisa worked at The Pew Charitable Trusts as a Principal Associate focusing on state strategies for health initiatives and drug spending reduction. Alisa's earlier roles included research associate positions at Georgetown University and CAQH CORE, where efforts centered around health reform and administrative simplification. Alisa holds a Certificate in Health Policy from Georgetown University, a Master of Arts in Women's Studies from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara.
