Lauren Block is a seasoned professional in Medicaid policy, currently serving as Vice President of Medicaid Policy & Programs at Aurrera Health Group since March 2021. In this role, Lauren leads business development, oversees projects in Medicaid policy design and implementation, and engages stakeholders across diverse sectors. As Director of Pathways to Resilience, Lauren promotes awareness of trauma's impact and fosters cross-sector initiatives for equity and well-being. Prior positions include Program Director at the National Governors Association, where Lauren specialized in healthcare transformation and workforce development, and a significant tenure at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, focusing on eligibility and enrollment policy. Lauren holds a Master of Public Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and French from Brandeis University.
