Colleen Rafferty was born and raised in Longmont, Colorado, and moved to Durango in 2009 to pursue a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology at Fort Lewis College. She worked as a Quality Control Technician for the chemistry team prior to being promoted to the Associate Microbiologist position in 2021. She is a Licensed Nutritionist.
