Ross Kidd has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Ross began their career in 1999 as an Account Coordinator at Total Sport & Entertainment, specializing in marketing activations with a focus on sporting events. Ross later worked as a Corporate Sales Manager at the Sydney Roosters, managing sponsorships and business partnerships.
In 2004, Ross joined TNT Magazine as an Account Manager before transitioning to Fairfax Media, where they held multiple roles including Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, and NSW Advertising Manager. During this time, they focused on building client relationships and media sales, representing various magazines. Ross also launched consumer events and secured sponsorships.
Ross then joined Salmat in 2011 as a Business Development Manager before moving to Holler Australia as a Senior Business Development Manager. In 2015, they became the Group Sales Manager - NSW Agency Sales at News Corp Australia, leading a team of Account Managers and representing The Australian's ecosystem.
Ross's most recent role was at Pinstripe Media, where they served as the Head of Agency Sales. Pinstripe Media is a leading business and finance publisher and marketing services agency in Australia. Ross was responsible for engaging half a million Australians each month through their media network and producing branded content for aspirational audiences.
In 2021, Ross took on the role of Sports Journalist / Producer, demonstrating their versatility and passion for the media industry.
Ross Kidd attended Newcastle Grammar School in New South Wales, Australia, where they completed their Higher School Certificate (HSC) degree. Ross then went on to study at the University of Canberra, majoring in Marketing with a focus on Sports Administration and Journalism. Ross earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the university.
