Paul Staples

Paul Staples is an experienced professional in the minerals and metals sector, currently serving as VP and Global Practice Lead at Ausenco since September 2015. Prior to this role, Paul held various positions at Ausenco including GM Technical Solutions for the APAC region and GM Canada for Minerals and Metals from 2007 to 2015. Paul's earlier experience includes roles such as Principal Process Engineer at GRD Minproc, General Superintendent of Operations and Planning at Freeport Indonesia, Metallurgist at Brenda Process Technology, and Area Metallurgist at Noranda. Paul Staples obtained education credentials from Queen's University and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
