Mary Savage

Mary Savage has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Mary began their career in 1986 in the United States Navy, serving as an Information Technology Manager until 2007. Mary then joined CSC as an Information Security Program Manager, where they led a team responsible for the Cyber Asset Reduction and Security mission. Their role involved integrating and supervising various IT experts and developing policies and procedures to enhance network security. In 2014, Mary joined Capstone Corporation as a Cybersecurity Consultant, building and maintaining customer relationships and providing technical information and tailored solutions. Since 2017, they have been working at AUSGAR Technologies INC as a Manager Risk Management and Forensic Analyst, specializing in vulnerability analysis and Navy Qualified Validator tasks.

Mary Savage earned a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2010 to 2013. Mary then pursued a Masters in Cybersecurity & Forensics from the same university from 2016 to 2022. In addition to their degrees, Mary also obtained several certification in the field of cybersecurity. In 2011, they received the Information Technology Infrastructure Library v3 certification from the Information Systems Examinations Board (ISEB). Mary obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)² in 2003. Mary also acquired the CRISC certification from ISACA in 2010. Finally, Mary received the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2014.
