Alison (Ali) Muir is an experienced professional in stakeholder engagement and strategic communications, currently serving as the Head of Strategic Relationships at AusIMM since July 2025 and as a Strategic Communications Consultant at Culburra Clay since July 2022. Previously, Alison held multiple senior advisory roles at Thiess from January 2023 to July 2025, focusing on social performance and community diversity across Western Australia, South Australia, and the Northern Territory. Alison's extensive background includes developing strategic partnerships at AusIMM from 2019 to 2022 and leading community engagement initiatives at ATCO Australia from 2013 to 2017. Prior experience includes owning and managing a successful wholesale distribution business and working as a business journalist in the resources sector. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Western Australia and a Post Graduate Diploma in Communications from Edith Cowan University.
