Narelle Wolfe has extensive work experience in ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) and sustainability roles. Narelle is currently working as the Head of ESG and Sustainability at AusIMM since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at an undisclosed company starting in October 2022. Narelle also has experience in community and social performance management, working as a Manager at St Barbara Limited from November 2020 to October 2022, and as a Director at an undisclosed company from January 2020 to November 2020. Before that, Narelle worked as a Group Manager of Social Performance at MMG Limited from January 2018 to December 2019. Narelle also held the position of Principal Social Consultant at Umwelt Australia Pty Limited from May 2014 to January 2018 and worked as a Community Project Manager on a 6-month contract at Arrow Energy Pty Ltd from July 2013 to January 2014. In addition, they worked as a Manager of Community Affairs at Rio Tinto Alcan from February 2011 to March 2013 and as a Manager of Community and Communication on a 1-year contract at Xstrata Coal Queensland from February 2010 to February 2011. Narelle's earlier experience includes roles at Anglo American, where they served as the Global Category Manager from February 2009 to February 2010 and as the Manager of Sustainable Development from July 2007 to February 2009.
Narelle Wolfe pursued their undergraduate studies at Monash University from 1993 to 1997. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science with Honors in the field of Earth Sciences.
