Prior to this, Angela co-owned and managed McLaughlin Builders, Inc. from 1999 to 2010, focusing on business development, project bidding, and financial operations. Angela's career began as a Legal Assistant Paralegal at Janecky Newell from 1986 to 1999, starting as a Legal Secretary and advancing to a Paralegal position. Angela holds degrees from the University of South Alabama and the University of Spring Hill.

Austal USA is a ship manufacturer headquartered in Mobile, Ala., with service centers in San Diego and Singapore and a technology center in Charlottesville, Va.
