Austin Achieve Public Schools
Mackee Mason has extensive work experience in the education sector. Mackee started their career in 2009 as a Teacher at IDEA Public Schools, where they taught 8th grade social studies. Mackee then served as an Assistant Principal at the same school from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they joined IDEA Public Schools as a Principal. Mackee also worked at Austin Achieve Public Schools, where they held multiple roles, including Science Teacher/Grade Level Chair, Principal, and currently serves as the Chief Academic Officer since June 2022. Additionally, they have had involvement with Teach For America as a Corps Member Advisor in 2011.
Mackee Mason completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication & Journalism at California State University, Fresno from 2004 to 2009. Later, from 2013 to 2014, Mackee pursued a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership at Teachers College, Columbia University, specializing in Educational Leadership and Administration.
