Craig Weitzman is a seasoned maintenance professional with extensive experience in electrical maintenance and management. Currently serving as the Maintenance Manager at the Austin Convention Center since October 2017, Craig has overseen the facility's operational excellence in a high-profile event environment. Prior to this role, Craig held various positions at Austin Water Utility, including Maintenance Electrician, where responsibilities involved troubleshooting electrical systems for water treatment facilities. Additionally, experience at the University of Texas at Austin as a Distribution Electrician and Maintenance Electrician involved the installation and maintenance of complex electrical systems. Earlier in the career, Craig developed foundational skills as a Journeyman Electrician and Apprentice Electrician with IBEW Local 520 and IBEW Local 99. Educational credentials include a BA in Political Science from the University at Albany and specialized training in electrical construction and maintenance.

We are based downtown comfortably situated amongst a high density of hotels with 11,000 guests rooms. Stretching over six city blocks the Convention Center amounts to 881,400 gross square feet.
