Michael Stott has a wealth of experience in the golf and country club industry. Michael is currently serving as the GM/CEO at Austin Country Club since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal at The Triumph Group from August 2020 to March 2021. From November 2017 to May 2020, they held the position of GM/President at Grey Oaks Country Club. Before that, Michael served as the GM/COO at Baltimore Country Club from March 2003 to November 2017. Michael also worked at Tam O'Shanter CC as GM/COO from May 1995 to February 2003, and at Winding Hollow CC as GM/COO from March 1993 to April 1995.

Michael Stott's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Eli Broad College of Business (HRIM - Major) from Michigan State University, which they obtained from 1983 to 1989. Michael later pursued a graduate degree, earning an MBA from Loyola University Maryland between 2008 and 2010.

In addition to their educational background, Michael Stott has obtained several certifications. In 1997, they became a Certified Club Manager (CCM) through the Club Management Association of America.
