Oliver Chiang

Oliver Chiang, P.E. has extensive work experience in various industries. Oliver currently works at Austin Energy as a Power System Principal Engineer since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at LCRA, where they held several positions including Engineering Supervisor from October 2017 to March 2021, Senior Engineer from March 2015 to September 2017, and Engineer from July 2008 to March 2015. Before joining LCRA, Oliver worked as a High School Math Teacher at Austin ISD from August 2006 to May 2008, at Waltham Public Schools from August 2002 to June 2006, and at Memphis Public Schools from August 2001 to May 2002. Oliver also had early career experience at Barnhart Crane and Rigging as an Engineer Associate & Assistant Dispatcher from June 1999 to August 2001.

Oliver Chiang, P.E. completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 1992 to 1996. Oliver then pursued a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering from the same university, graduating between 1997 and 1999.
