Valerie Paxton

Valerie Paxton is an environmental conservation professional with extensive experience in renewable energy and project management. Currently serving as the Environmental Conservation Program Manager at Austin Energy since November 2020, Valerie previously held the role of Environmental Program Coordinator at the same organization. Prior to this, Valerie worked as a Sales Manager at Greenbelt Solar LLC and held several positions in the renewable energy sector, including Renewable Energy Consultant at Native, Inc. and Solar Design Consultant at Circular Energy. Valerie's earlier career involved marketing and sales roles at HelioVolt and Global Energy Designs, along with significant volunteer work through Americorps. Valerie holds a BA in Foreign Languages and International Affairs from the University of Puget Sound.
