Gabriel Whitney

Gabriel Whitney is an accomplished professional with experience in both the film and performing arts. Currently serving as a Script Reader for the Austin Film Festival since April 2024, Gabriel has also engaged audiences as an Actor and Historical Interpreter at the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum since June 2022, portraying Samuel Adams and Thompson Maxwell. Previous roles include working as a Gardener at the Hitchcock Center for the Environment from September 2019 to June 2023 and as a Cinematographer for Bedford TV from July 2018 to June 2023. Additionally, Gabriel contributed as a Media Labs Assistant at Hampshire College from September 2018 to May 2019, supporting students with various media technologies. Gabriel holds a Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting from Boston University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Hampshire College.
