Shawndi Johnson

Shawndi Johnson is an accomplished professional in social work and program management with extensive experience in various non-profit settings. Currently serving as the Director of Evidence-Based Programs at LifeWorks Austin since December 2020, Shawndi is responsible for supporting EBP Fidelity and Implementation Measures. Additionally, as a Resource Consultant for the Austin Film Society since February 2022, Shawndi collaborates with the Creative Careers community education team to ensure participants access essential resources for success in the program. With a background that includes roles such as Program Manager for Father Engagement at Children's Bureau and Program Supervisor at the Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center, Shawndi has dedicated over a decade to protecting vulnerable children and families through prevention and support services. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton.
