Amanda Gilligan

Amanda Gilligan currently serves as the Director of Medical Services at Epworth Eastern Box Hill and has held various leadership roles within the Epworth Neurosciences Clinical Institute since February 2016. Amanda's responsibilities encompass coordinating the Neurosciences unit, overseeing a large team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, and orthopaedic spinal surgeons, and managing clinical services across multiple sites. In addition to clinical management, Amanda is deeply involved in teaching, research, and mentorship, fostering educational programs for medical professionals and supervising junior staff and students. Amanda holds a PhD in Medicine from the University of Melbourne and additional qualifications in business and medicine from Monash University. Furthermore, Amanda contributes to the academic community as an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at Eastern Health and as an Honorary VMO Consultant Neurologist at Austin Health.
