Sandra Fisher

Sandra Fisher has extensive work experience in the field of medical physics, with a focus on radiation oncology. Sandra is currently working as the Principal Medical Physicist at Austin Health since July 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Medical Physics Specialist at Elekta from October 2015 to July 2020. From October 2012 to September 2015, they worked as a Medical Physics Specialist at the Department of Radiation Oncology, Prince of Wales Hospital. Before that, they gained experience as a Medical Physics Registrar at the Department of Radiation Oncology, Royal North Shore Hospital from July 2007 to October 2012. Sandra also worked as a Biomedical Engineer at Columna Pty Ltd from January 2005 to July 2007.

Sandra Fisher has a Specialist Certificate in Clinical Leadership from the University of Melbourne, which they completed in 2022. Sandra also has a Master of Medical Physics (MMedPhys) from the University of Sydney, which they completed from 2007 to 2008. In addition, they have a Bachelor of Engineering Aeronautical (Space) from the University of Sydney, completed from 2001 to 2004. Sandra has also obtained a Certification in Radiation Oncology Medical Physics from the Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine in 2012.
