Sophie Dixon

Sophie Dixon has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sophie most recently worked as the Director of Finance at Austin Health starting in 2018. Prior to that, they held various roles at Metro Trains Melbourne, including Head of Finance - Franchise, Financial Controller - Operations & Customer Experience, Financial Controller - Corporate, and Treasury & Insurance Manager. From 2015 to 2015, they served as the Acting Chief Financial Controller at Sunstone Resources. Before that, they worked at Veolia Transportation as the Finance Manager and Financial Performance Manager. Sophie also has experience as a Finance Business Analyst at Amcor and as a Financial Shared Service Manager at Orica. Sophie began their career as a Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young.

Sophie Dixon graduated from Toorak College with a VCE degree in 1990. Sophie then attended Monash University from 1991 to 1993 and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting. In 1995, Sophie Dixon became a Chartered Accountant from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Sophie later obtained the Graduate Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) certification in 2013 from the same institution.
