Named President of Austin Industrial in 2022, Greg McCoun has more than 25 years of industrial experience on both the owner and contractor sides for Fortune 500 clients in the refining, petrochemical, paper, energy, and specialty markets. He has held executive leadership roles in business development, strategic accounts, marketing, and operations for other mechanical and SIPA contracting organizations. Greg worked directly in plant operations and process improvement for both GE and Honeywell (formerly AlliedSignal). He started his career as a process engineer and worked his way up through technical and operations roles, ultimately as a plant manager.
Mr. McCoun holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University and is a Six Sigma Black Belt in process improvement.
