Carlos Merla

Carlos Merla has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Carlos founded and served as the Principal of Core Events Executive Coaching from 2012 to the present. In this role, they provided executive coaching services.

Carlos also worked as the Vice President of Austin Lighthouse starting in 2021.

Prior to these roles, Carlos served as the Vice President of Client Services at Data Glove Inc. from 2014 onwards. Here, they focused on delivering consistent services and managing customer satisfaction.

Carlos had a successful tenure at Microsoft Corporation, where they held multiple leadership positions. Carlos served as the Director of Services, Director Incubation Services & Support, Director Premier Field Engineering, and Regional Strategy Manager - Latin America. In these roles, they oversaw organizational development, coaching/mentoring, and business development efforts.

Before their time at Microsoft, Carlos spent 15 years at Altria Group, working in various sales and marketing leadership positions.

Carlos was also involved with Toastmasters International, where they served as a Chapter President in 1997.
