Carol Clark is the current Executive Assistant to the President at Austin Peay State University. Carol has been in this role since January 2016. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Assistant to the President for Community and Government Relations at Austin Peay State University from January 2001 to January 2016. In this role, they were responsible for the community and business relations of the university and acted as the liaison between the president and the community. Carol also served as the Director of Community & Business Relations and Executive Assistant to the President from January 2001 to January 2016. Carol Clark received their Doctor of Education from Western Kentucky University in Educational Leadership - Postsecondary. Carol also holds an Ed. S. from Austin Peay State University in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, as well as a MA from Austin Peay State University in Communication. Carol Clark began their educational career with a BBA from Austin Peay State University in Business and an Associate's degree from Sinclair Community College in Business Administration.

They are on a team with David Davenport - Director, University Recreation/Chief Diversity Officer, Andrew Luna - Executive Director of Decision Support and Institutional Research, and Scott Brower - Military Adviser In Residence. Carol Clark reports to Dannelle Whiteside, Interim President.
