Austin Peay State University
Tony Morris serves as the Associate Dean for the College of Arts and Letters and a Professor and Department Chair at Austin Peay State University since August 2012, teaching various art history courses. Previously, Tony held the position of Visiting Assistant Professor and Gallery Director at Mississippi State University, where a range of art appreciation and history courses were taught. Prior academic involvement includes positions at the University of Akron, Kent State University, and curatorial work for The Cleveland Museum of Art. Tony holds a PhD in Art History from Case Western Reserve University, a MA in Art History from Kent State University, and a BFA in Studio Art with a focus on Graphic Design from Bradley University. Additional experience includes a supervisory role at Kelvin Smith Library's Freedman Center and a registrar position at Wolf's Auction House.
