Christy Lawrence

Christy Lawrence is an experienced language educator specializing in French and Spanish instruction at various academic institutions. Currently serving as a French and Spanish Instructor at Austin Preparatory School since August 2022, Christy previously held significant roles at Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School as both a French Instructor and Chair of the World Language Department for 12 years. Other notable positions include teaching at Newton Country Day School, College of the Holy Cross, Concord Academy, Tufts University, Boston University, Babson College, and Wellesley College. Christy holds a Ph.D. in French Literature from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature and Biology from Wartburg College.
