Austin Recovery
Demisha Harris has extensive experience in the healthcare field, having worked in various roles since 2006. Currently serving as Residential Care Staff at Austin Recovery since March 2020, Demisha previously held positions as a Psychiatric Nursing Assistant at Austin State Hospital and Rehabilitation Technician at both Vibra Healthcare and HealthSouth. Earlier career experiences include work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Reliant Hospital Partners, LLC, and multiple CNA roles at Girling Health Care and Heritage Park. Demisha earned a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Concordia University Texas in 2022, following foundational education at Austin Community College.

Austin Recovery
Austin Recovery is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, providing affordable recovery services to adolescents and their family members. AUstin Recovery offers two youth serving programs for those seeking recovery and their family members, including: Keystone: Our Keystone program offers alternative peer groups to support adolescents seeking recovery support. Univeristy High School (UHS): UHS is a sober high school offering wrap-around support to adolescents in recovery while they work towards their high school diploma. Our high school programming is offered both in person and digitally and includes 1x1 coaching, group support and a wide variety of extracurricular support activies. UHS is located on the UT Campus in Austin, Texas.
