Bao C Nguyen, MD, is a General Surgeon with extensive experience in acute care and trauma surgery. Currently serving at Austin Regional Clinic since March 2022, Bao previously worked with The Surgicalist Group where responsibilities included triaging patients and managing critically ill individuals. As the Assistant Trauma Medical Director at Davis Hospital and Medical Center in 2021, Bao coordinated multidisciplinary trauma care and developed clinical protocols. Training was completed as a General Surgery Resident at University of Utah Health from 2014 to 2019, following the attainment of an MD from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
