Dr Shuet Ching Neong is a highly experienced healthcare professional with a robust background in quality management and public health. Serving as the Head of Quality Unit and Senior Principal Assistant Director at the Ministry of Health, Malaysia since January 2009, Dr Neong has played a key role in quality unit management, acted as a Deputy Internal Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015, and contributed to the COVID-19 Vaccination Task Force Committee. Dr Neong's qualifications include an MBBS from King's College London, multiple advanced degrees including a PhD in Community Health from the National University of Malaysia, and various memberships and fellowships in esteemed health organizations. Current roles include Life Membership in the Malaysian Medical Association and membership in the Institute of Health & Social Care Management. Dr Neong also serves as a reviewer for the International Journal of Pharmacy and Chemistry and maintains a career-long commitment to health education and occupational safety within the healthcare system.
