Sean Wiyang Szetoo

Sean Wiyang Szetoo is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in gastroenterology and hepatology. Currently serving as Director of Gastroenterology at Queensland Health since February 2012, Sean has held various roles, including Staff Specialist, Clinical Lead, and Medical Registrar. In addition to clinical practice at Logan Endoscopy Services, Sean is a Senior Lecturer at both The University of Queensland and Griffith University, with prior positions as Associate and Adjunct Lecturer at various institutions. As an Associate Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Management and the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators, Sean demonstrates a commitment to medical education and administration. Sean holds multiple degrees including a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, as well as a Bachelor of Medical Science from UNSW.
