Siva Murugappa

Siva Murugappa currently serves on the AIBC WA Management Committee for the Australia India Business Council since June 2023 and holds the position of Executive in Commercial Banking at Commonwealth Bank since January 2023, where responsibilities include leadership and management of a Commercial Deposit portfolio. Previously, Siva spent over 16 years at Bankwest in various senior management roles, including Senior Manager for the Business Deposits Team, Money Market Investment, Working Capital Solutions, and Broker Sales, focusing on high-net-worth individuals and large corporate clients. Siva's experience also includes volunteer work as Senior Partnerships Manager for TEDxPerth and earlier roles in business development and team management at Computer Expo. Siva holds multiple qualifications, including a Master’s Degree in Applied Finance, a Diploma of Financial Markets from AFMA, and certifications in finance and mortgage broking, Lean Six Sigma, and business credit risk.
