George Clarke

George Clarke is an experienced sports journalist currently serving as a Sports Reporter at Australian Associated Press since October 2021. Clarke previously worked at FOX SPORTS Australia as a Digital Sports Journalist from February 2019 to October 2021, and as a Sports Sub-Editor at the Daily Mail from September 2016 to December 2018. Additional roles include Online Reporter for Express Newspapers, Volunteer Media Assistant for London Broncos RL, and Trainee at Press Association, where Clarke completed an NCTJ Foundation diploma with modules in various aspects of journalism. Early career experiences include positions as a Student Writer for The Courier and roles in marketing and public relations. George Clarke holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and completed journalism training through Press Association Training in 2016.
